LoRa Shield is based on Semtech SX1276/SX1278 chip, targeting professional wireless sensor network applications such as irrigation systems, smart metering, smart cities, smartphone detection, building automation, and more. It utilizes Hope RF's patented LoRaTM modulation technique for exceptional sensitivity and link budget.
LoRaTM provides advantages in blocking and selectivity over conventional modulation techniques, offering a solution to the design compromise between range, interference immunity, and energy consumption. The Dragino Shield featuring LoRa technology supports high-performance (G)FSK modes for various systems.
The Shield includes features like automatic RF Sense, CAD with ultra-fast AFC, built-in temperature sensor, low battery indicator, and more. It delivers exceptional phase noise, selectivity, receiver linearity, and IIP3 for lower current consumption compared to other devices.
