The LM324 device consists of four independent, high-gain, internally frequency compensated operational amplifiers designed for a wide range of voltages. It can operate from a single power supply or split-power supplies. The low-power supply current drain is independent of the power supply voltage magnitude, making it suitable for various applications including transducer amplifiers and DC gain blocks.
It can directly operate off a standard 5V power supply used in digital systems, eliminating the need for additional ±15V power supplies. The input common-mode voltage range includes ground, and the differential input voltage range is equal to the power supply voltage. With a large output voltage swing from 0V to V+ - 1.5V, the LM324 offers versatile functionality.
