The LM1085 is a high-quality regulator with a maximum dropout of 1.5 V at 3 A of load current. It features the same pin-out as TI’s LM317 and offers various output options including adjustable and fixed output voltages. For the adjustable version, two resistors are required to set the output voltage, while the fixed output versions come with integrated adjust resistors.
The LM1085 circuit includes current limiting and thermal shutdown for added protection. It is available in 3.3-V, 5.0-V, 12-V, and Adjustable Versions, making it versatile for different applications.
