The L4975A is a step-down monolithic power switching regulator capable of delivering 5A at a voltage variable between 5.1 and 40V. It features a DMOS output transistor that ensures high efficiency and fast switching times. This device is designed with BCD mixed technology to provide various functions like reset and power fail for microprocessors, feed-forward line regulation, soft start, current limiting, and thermal protection.
Efficient operation at switching frequencies of up to 500KHz allows for a reduction in external filter component size and cost. With a precise 5.1V ± 2% on-chip reference, the L4975A offers reliable performance for your power regulation needs.
