The IRFP9240 provides designers with the best combination of fast switching, ruggedized device design, low on-resistance, and cost-effectiveness. The TO-247AC package is particularly suited for commercial-industrial applications where high power levels require a more robust design than TO-220AB devices. Compared to the earlier TO-218 package, the TO-247AC offers an isolated mounting hole and greater creepage distance between pins, meeting safety specifications.
Compliant with RoHS Directive 2002/95/EC, this MOSFET is easy to parallel and has simple drive requirements.
