The HC-08 Bluetooth UART communication module is a new generation of Bluetooth V4.0 BLE module based on the transmission module. It operates on a wireless working frequency of 2.4GHz ISM with GFSK modulation. The module has a maximum transmit power of 4dBm and a receiving sensitivity of -93dBm. It can achieve super long-distance communication of up to 80 meters with iPhone4s in an open environment.
The module utilizes the CC2540 chip with 256K Byte space configuration, supporting AT commands for flexible user configuration. It is mainly used for short-range data wireless transmission, industrial remote control, telemetry, traffic, underground positioning, alarm systems, smart home applications, and can also function as an industrial serial port Bluetooth.
