This infrared thermometer module is designed for non-contact temperature sensing. It features an internal 17-bit ADC and a powerful DSP for high accuracy and resolution. With a field of view of 35 degrees, it provides the average temperature value of all objects within its range.

Applications include high precision non-contact temperature measurements, thermal comfort sensor for mobile air conditioning control systems, automotive blind angle detection, and more.

The GY-906 MLX90614ESF -BCC Sensor Module comes with a breakout board and two types of pins for easy integration. It also includes 10k pull-up resistors for the I2C interface with optional solder jumpers. The module has a sleep mode for reduced power consumption.
