The GT521F32 Fingerprint Scanner Module is an optical scanner module that captures visual images using a digital camera. It is designed for easy integration with a serial interface (UART) and requires two wires for TX and RX, and two wires for power supply (5V).
The module is equipped with a low power 32-bit ARM Cortex-M3 processor for processing fingerprint data and converting it into templates stored on the device. It supports easy enrollment of multiple users and can communicate via UART & USB protocols.
An external UART-to-USB converter is required for communication (TX & RX levels: 3.3V). The module complies with USB 2.0 full-speed specifications and allows reading/writing fingerprint templates and downloading raw bitmap images.
