The harder you press on the round area at the end of the sensor, the lower the sensor's resistance. The resistance remains constant when flexed, changing only with applied pressure. For forces above 100 lbs (up to 1000 lbs), reduce the drive voltage and feedback resistor resistance.
Compared to other force sensors, FlexiForce sensors are more linear, have less drift, better rehabilitation, wider range, and are less dependent on sensing area. Ideal for Testing and Measurement Equipment, Embedded Electronics, OEM Development Kit, Consumer Electronics, and Multimeter applications.
