eSun ABS+ is a composite of standard ABS, with extra additives to give the material extra strengths. ABS+ is tougher than regular ABS, demonstrating much less warping and offering a smoother 3D printing experience. It can be easily colored and polished using acetone.
Compared to standard ABS plastic, ABS+ warps far less, with greater first layer adhesion, resulting in more rigid and defined structures. ABS+ is more forgiving on temperature requirements for bridges and overhangs, ensuring better layer adhesion and less warping during printing.
ABS+ offers a unique, beautiful finish, less opaque than typical ABS, and can become moderately transparent when polished. These advantages, along with improved strength and flexibility, make ABS+ filament a valuable investment for all 3D makers.
Maintenance Tips:
- Store unprinted material in sealed bags in a cool, dry place to prevent moisture.
- Insert the wire into the fixed hole of the tray when not in use to prevent knotting.
- Print in a well-ventilated environment to minimize the slight irritating smell produced by ABS.
