The CNC Shield V4 is designed to work seamlessly with the Nano board, serving as an expansion board for engraving machines and 3D printers. It features 3 channel slots for A4988 stepper motor driver modules (not included), allowing you to drive 3 channels of stepper motors. Each stepper motor channel requires only 2 IO ports, making it efficient with just 6 IO ports needed to manage 3 stepper motors. This shield simplifies the process of managing stepper motors in your project.
With compatibility with micro-drive laser engraving machines and three-axis CNC engraving machines, this shield can control up to 2A within the two-phase four-wire stepper motor. It also provides a digital IO interface for easy connection to other modules like endstops and an I2C interface for LCD or other I2C module connectivity. The shield operates on a DC5V interface with a voltage input range of 7.5-12V and is GRBL compatible, working seamlessly with Arduino Nano.
