The CJMCU-2551 MCP2551 CAN Protocol Controller High-speed Interface Module acts as an interfacing device between CAN protocol and the physical bus. It provides differential transmit and receive capabilities and is compliant with the ISO-11898, including the 24V requirements. The module also offers protection against high-voltage spikes on the CAN bus generated by external sources like EMI, ESD, and electrical transients.
Data transfer rates of up to 1Mb/s can be achieved with this module. It features externally-controlled slope for reduced RFI emissions, detection of ground fault on TXD input, power-on reset, voltage brown-out protection, and automatic thermal shutdown protection. The module can connect up to 112 nodes and has high-noise immunity due to its differential bus implementation.
The temperature ranges supported are Industrial (I): -40C to +85C and Extended (E): -40C to +125C.
