74HC4067 16-Channel Analog Mux/Demux Breakout Board
Route analog and digital signals with ease using this versatile breakout board
- Operating Voltage: 2 to 6V
- Maximum Current: 25mA
Key Features:
- 16-channel analog multiplexer/demultiplexer
- Bidirectional signal flow
- Binary address selection
- Active LOW enable pin
This breakout board features the 74HC4067, a 16-channel analog multiplexer/demultiplexer that efficiently handles both analog and digital signals in bi-directional mode. With the ability to route 1 of 16 input channels to 1 output or vice versa, this module is perfect for applications involving analog sensors, potentiometers, switches, digital sensors, or serial communications.
The 74HC4067 is compatible with 3.3V and 5V logic, offering flexibility in various circuit designs. It operates with an ON-channel resistance of approximately 70 ohms (60 ohms at 5V) allowing a maximum current of 25mA per channel. The address lines (S0-S3) facilitate easy selection of the desired channel using binary addressing.
For added convenience, the enable pin (EN) can disable all channels when pulled HIGH, while by default, it enables the selected channel when kept LOW. The breakout board includes header solder points for easy wire connections and features a 1x8 header for main connections and a 1x16 header for individual channel connections.
