A CD54 33uH Surface Mount Power Inductor is a 2-terminal passive device with a coil of wire wound around a core, typically made of ferrite. When a current is applied, a magnetic field is generated around it. This inductor is commonly used in mobile phones, PDAs, MP3 players, DSC/DVC, portable DVD players, etc., as DC-DC Converter inductors.
The magnetic field produced by a magnetic core inductor is significantly stronger compared to others. The inductor has an operating temperature range of -40°C to +100°C, including self-temperature rise of coils. It can withstand solder reflow temperatures up to 260°C peak. The dimensions are LxWxH: 5 x 5 x 4 mm, and it weighs 0.4 gm.
