A CD54 100uH Surface Mount Power Inductor is a 2-terminal passive device with a coil of wire wound around a core to produce high inductance. When a current is applied, a magnetic field is generated around it. The magnetic field generated by using a magnetic core is much stronger than others.
Applications include Mobile phones, PDAs, MP3 players, DSC/DVC, portable DVD players, etc., as DC-DC Converter inductors.
