The CD4514 is a 4-to-16 line decoder with latched inputs designed using complementary MOS circuits with N- and P-channel enhancement mode transistors. It is ideal for decoding applications requiring low power dissipation and high noise immunity. The output presents a logical "1" at the selected output. The input latches are R-S type flip-flops that retain the last input data before the strobe transition. An output inhibit line is also provided for additional control.
The CD4514 is a plug-in replacement for MC14514 and MC14515, offering single-supply operation and an input impedance of approximately 10^12 ohms.
