The CD4034 is a static eight-stage parallel-or serial-input parallel-output register. It provides multiple functionalities including bidirectional data transfer between buses, serial to parallel conversion, and more. The register stages are D-type master-slave flip-flops with separate clock inputs for synchronous or asynchronous data transfer.
With 16 bidirectional parallel data lines, the CD4034 offers flexibility in data handling. It can operate in the DC-to-10 MHz range at VDD = 10V with standardized output characteristics. Expansion is easy with cascading CD4034 packages for multi-register setups.
