Top Features:
- Get precise temperature and pressure values
- Enhancement of GPS navigation
- Indoor and outdoor navigation
- Weather forecasting and health applications
The BMP280 Breakout is designed for indoor/outdoor navigation, weather forecasting, home automation, and personal health monitoring. It uses Bosch's environmental sensor for accurate temperature and barometric pressure readings.
This precision sensor offers ±1 hPa absolute pressure accuracy and ±1.0°C temperature accuracy. With its quality measurements, it can also be used as an altimeter with ±1 meter accuracy.
The BMP280 is the next generation of sensors, an upgrade to BMP085/BMP180/BMP183, offering low altitude noise of 0.25m and fast conversion time. It works with both I2C and SPI interfaces for versatile applications.
For easy wiring, use I2C; for multiple sensor connections without address collisions, go with SPI. Libraries and tutorials are available for Arduino and other microcontrollers.
Operating Voltage: 1.71V to 3.6V – typically operated from 3.3V. Operating Temperature: -40 to +85 deg. Celsius (full accuracy between 0 and +65 deg. C). Operating Pressure: 300 hPa to 1100 hPa. Peak current: 1.12mA. Accuracy between 700 to 900hPa and 25 to 40 deg. C: ±0.12hPa and ±1.0m.
