The ATMEGA164A is a high-performance, low-power Atmel AVR 8-bit Microcontroller featuring 131 powerful instructions with most single clock cycle execution. With up to 16MIPS throughput at 16MHz, this microcontroller allows system designers to balance power consumption and processing speed effectively.
Additional features include high endurance non-volatile memory segments, in-system self-programmable Flash memory, EEPROM, and internal SRAM. The microcontroller supports in-system programming by an on-chip boot program and true read-while-write operation for enhanced security. It also offers JTAG interface, on-chip debug support, and various peripheral features such as timers, ADC, PWM channels, and more.
