The ESP-12K Wi-Fi module features the ESP32-S2 chip with a single-core 32-bit LX7 microprocessor, clock frequency up to 240 MHz, and 128KB ROM. It supports various interfaces including touch sensor, temperature sensor, and up to 43 GPIO. The module also includes a full-speed USB On-The-Go (OTG) interface for USB communication.
ESP32-S2 provides hardware security mechanisms such as encryption accelerators, RNG, HMAC, and Digital Signature modules for enhanced security. It supports flash encryption and secure boot signature verification for secure applications.
The ESP-12K module supports optional PSRAM and offers various configurations. It comes in SMD-42 packaging and supports general AT commands for quick usage. The module allows for secondary development and supports local and remote firmware upgrades.
