The AD9850 DDS Signal Generator Module is a versatile IC test equipment that can generate a Square Wave of 0-1MHz. It offers a frequency range from 0-40MHz, with the AD9851 variant extending up to 70MHz. The module's small size of approximately 4.5 x 2.6 x 1.7 cm makes it convenient for various applications.
It can output sine wave, square wave, two sine waves, and two square-wave outputs. The module features a 70MHz low-pass filter to improve the waveform's signal-to-noise ratio. By adjusting the comparator reference input voltage using a variable resistor, users can modify the duty cycle of the square wave output.
For easy adjustment of the output waveform's magnitude, the module provides a benchmark pin (PIN12) lead. The AD9850 module uses a 125MHz active crystal, while the AD9851 module utilizes a 30MHz active crystal.
With parallel and serial data input selection available via a jumper, the module offers flexibility in operation. The package includes 1 x AD9850 DDS Signal Generator Module.
