- Using: Proprietary ion-implanted buried Zener diode
- Trimming: Laser wafer trimming of thin-film resistors
- Performance: Outstanding performance at a low cost
- Voltage: 5 V reference
- Noise Level: Lower noise and drift than band gap references
- Applications: Ideal for 8-, 10-, 12-, 14-, or 16-bit DACs
- Compatibility: Industry-standard pinout for easy upgrade
- Features:
- Laser trimmed to high accuracy
- Low noise: 100 nV/?Hz
- Output capable of sourcing or sinking 10 mA
- Noise reduction and output trim capability
The AD586 offers much higher performance compared to most other 5 V references. It uses a buried Zener design for lower noise and drift. This voltage reference is a recommended choice for precision reference in DACs and ADCs, offering excellent accuracy and stability.
The device is trimmable for output calibration and is available in MIL-STD-883-compliant versions. Industrial temperature range SOICs are also available for various applications. The output is protected and safe for indefinite short to ground or VIN.
Specification:
- VIN to Ground: 36 V
- Power Dissipation: 500 mW
- Storage Temperature: -65°C to +150°C
- Lead Temperature: 300°C
- Output Protection: Output safe for indefinite short to ground or VIN
