The SC08A offers the advantage of deactivating any servo channel at any time and setting the initial position of any channel at startup. Each servo signal pin can generate pulses from 0.5ms to 2.5ms, allowing for 180-degree operation. With a small size and different protocol compared to SC16A, the SC08A can be daisy-chained with 2 boards for independent control over 16 RC servo motors simultaneously.
The host for SC08A can be a PC desktop/laptop with a USB to serial (UART) converter or a microcontroller with a UART interface. The UART interface provides flexibility, speed, and ease of use.
Optional servo ramping feature allows users to choose one of 100 ramp rates for each servo.
