The 74LS47 are Low Power Schottky BCD to 7-Segment Decoder/Drivers consisting of NAND gates, input buffers, and seven AND-OR-INVERT gates. They accept 4-bit BCD data and decode it to drive a 7-segment display. Output configurations are designed for high voltages (up to 15 V).
Indicator segments requiring up to 24 mA of current can be directly driven. Unique symbols authenticate input conditions for BCD input counts above nine. The device includes automatic zero-blanking control (RBI and RBO), lamp test (LT) capabilities, and an overriding blanking input (BI) for controlling lamp intensity.
