The 74HC373 high speed octal D-type latches are designed for high noise immunity and low power consumption, making them ideal for interfacing with bus lines in a bus organized system. When the LATCH ENABLE input is HIGH, the Q outputs will follow the D inputs. The 3-STATE feature allows data retention at the outputs until LATCH ENABLE returns HIGH. The logic family is compatible with the standard 74LS logic family, offering speed, function, and pin-out compatibility. Internal diode clamps protect inputs from static discharge.
