The 60mm Aluminum Mecanum Wheels set is perfect for creating agile robots. Each wheel consists of rollers set at a 45-degree rotational axis parallel to the wheel's axis, allowing for omnidirectional movement. The set includes 2 left and 2 right wheels, along with necessary coupling components.
By adding your drive motor, controller boards, and batteries, you can easily set up these wheels. Moving all four wheels in the same direction causes the robot to move forward or backward. Running wheels in opposite directions on each side enables lateral movement without changing orientation.
One of the main advantages of Mecanum wheels over Omnidirectional wheels is that all four wheels contribute force when the robot moves in any direction, maintaining stability.
