The LC 5A 12V Overcurrent Protection AC Current Detection Sensor Module utilizes a current transformer to collect the AC signal for relay over-current signal output within the range of 0-5A. The relay pulls during over-current situations and releases when the current is within the safe range. Users can control external circuits using the COM, NC, and NO ports to achieve over-current protection.
By adjusting the potentiometer, users can set the overcurrent protection point. Clockwise adjustment reduces the detection current. To use, connect VCC and GND to a DC12V power supply, adjust the potentiometer until the relay pulls, indicating over-current activation. Reduce or cut off the current flow to identify the over-current protection point.
If the relay releases when the current flow is reduced or cut off, the over-current protection point has been identified. If the relay remains engaged, continue adjusting the potentiometer to find the correct point.
