The 5.8GHz 4-leaf polarized antenna in pair helps reject multi-path interference, common with dipole antennas, and significantly increases transmission range. The newest Antenna has reinforcement around the cloverleaf base to prevent unwanted damage. The new cover (top piece only but firm enough and lightweight) is added to the package to protect antenna wires during installation on drones.
