The 4 x 4 Matrix Keypad Module is a non-encoded matrix keypad with 16 keys in parallel. The keys of each row and column are connected through the pins labeled outside - R1-R4 for rows and L1-L4 for columns. This module features microswitch buttons and comes with four 3mm (M3) mounting holes. The pin designations on each PCB provide an x and y coordinate system.
The module comes equipped with soldered pin-headers for easy integration. To use, connect power to rows to set them to a high level, then set all rows (R1-R4) to low and detect column statuses to identify pressed keys.
