E-bikes generally combine both pedal-assist sensors as well as a throttle. Some electric bikes have an electric motor that operates on a power-on-demand basis only. In this case, the electric motor is engaged and operated manually using a throttle, which is usually on the handgrip just like the ones on a motorbike or scooter.
These Chains have been developed and designed particularly for the use of E-bikes. They are built to keep their durability while being exposed to higher speed and heavier bikes. The 420 chains are needed to match the tooth on this 420 Sprocket. It's thicker than a normal electric bike sprocket, making it suitable for running at high speeds in the range of 100+ km/h. The 420 Sprocket works together with motors that can install the 420 Chains.
