3S stands for 3 18650 batteries or polymer lithium battery series combination. The board supports a rated voltage of 10.8V for polymer batteries, 11.1V for 18650 or 3.7V lithium batteries, and 12.6V lithium batteries. It can discharge up to 10A and comes with over-charge, over-discharge, over-current, and short circuit protection.
When connecting three battery groups, ensure the voltage of each group is the same. The protection board is not suitable for certain battery types like lithium iron phosphate batteries, hand drill batteries, or electric bicycle batteries.
