The Trimpot is a variable resistor used for varying voltage in a circuit. The voltage output between the terminals changes as the trimpot is rotated. The outer two pins are connected to Vcc and 0V, while the center pin outputs a variable voltage between 0V and Vcc as the rotary cermet is adjusted.
