Compatibility features include a Write Protect Pin for Hardware Data Protection, Partial Page Writes Allowed, and Self-timed Write Cycle (5 ms max). The 24C04 ensures high reliability with 1 Million Write Cycles Endurance and Data Retention of up to 100 Years.
