The IN4937 Axial-lead, Fast Recovery Rectifiers are ideal for applications such as dc power supplies, inverters, converters, ultrasonic systems, choppers, low RF interference, and free-wheeling diodes. With a typical recovery time of 150 nanoseconds, these rectifiers offer high efficiency at frequencies up to 250 kHz.
These rectifiers feature low forward voltage drop, high surge current capability, high reliability, high current capability, fast switching for high efficiency, low leakage current, high forward surge capability, and are solder dip 275 °C max. for 10 s, per JESD 22-B106. They are shipped in Plastic Bags; 1,000 per Bag and are also available Tape and Reeled; 5,000 per Reel, by Adding a “RL” Suffix to the Part Number. The mechanical characteristics include a case made of Epoxy, Molded, a weight of 0.4 Gram (Approximately), and all external surfaces are corrosion-resistant with terminal leads that are readily solderable. The lead temperature for soldering purposes is 260°C Max. for 10 Seconds, and the polarity is indicated by a Polarity Band.
