The 0-24 2Amp Step Down Transformer is designed for DIY projects requiring high current drain, on chassis AC/AC converter, and designing a battery charger. The transformer acts as a step-down transformer, reducing AC - 230V to AC - 24V, with outputs of 24V and 0V. It has flying colored insulated connecting leads (Approx 100 mm long) for easy installation.
The transformer's construction includes a solid core and winding, with cores made of high permeability silicon steel. The steel core greatly reduces the magnetizing current and confines the flux to closely couple the winding circuits, ensuring efficient energy transfer by inductive coupling.
